Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at The Queen Elizabeth
Hospital on Tuesday November 10, 2009 of Jack Meredith of Milton and
formerly of Charlottetown age 89 years. Veteran of World War II. Born
in Heywood, England he came to P.E.I. with The Royal Air Force in
1939. Husband of Muriel and the late Bernice Meredith. Dear father of
Gary (Dianne)and Lana (John) Irwin. Stepfather of Heather Keir (Ormie
Hopkins) Grandfather of Doug, Tracy, Jody, Kelly, Dylan and David.
Great grandfather of Michelle, Tyler Jack, Riley, Griffin, Katie,
Bayleigh and Max. Brother of Harry Meredith.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired memorials to The Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visiting hours Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.macleanfh.com
